Kett Fine Art was established by James Weedon in 2001 after working as a specialist & auctioneer for Bonhams (London). James’ career has been exclusively in the Art Industry and has covered all aspects of buying, selling and assessing art and antiques. James has a Batchelor’s Degree in Fine Art Valuation and a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years.

James has worked with numerous private & corporate collections and various public institutions including the National Trust, Christchurch (Oxford), the Rijksmuseum & the British Museum.

Together with colleagues and specialist consultants, Kett Fine Art offers a bespoke valuation, brokerage and advisory service to both private and corporate clients. Whether a single object or an entire collection, we can tailor a bespoke service for our client’s specific needs.

We offer advice on restoration, conservation and undertake research projects to investigate provenance or to establish authenticity for individual works.
